Coming from a minor noble family with a strong military background, Sophie graduated from Sandhurst with honours. She loaths Torchwood. She and Megan dislike each other intensely. Although professional enough to work together when the need arises, Each one constantly attempts to undermine the other's authority whenever the opporunity arises. During the Cyberman Attack on Torchwood House (Wrath of God - part 3) Megan and Sophie came to an agreement that if either was captured by the Cybermen, the other would carry out a 'mercy killing' rather than face being Upgraded. Sophie was captured and Megan did indeed carry out their pact and shot her dead.
