Arthur ‘Zeg’ Wilson 1967-

Brown hair, green/grey eyes, average build, 5’10” tall

Married to Susan, two children Wendy born 2001 and Fredrick born 2003

Joined Torchwood in 1999 and worked in the records retention department (filing clerk) at Torchwood One. Was heavily traumatised by the events of the Battle of Canary Wharf and was given an extended leave of absence when Torchwood One was closed down. During the Toclafane invasion and the year that never was, Susan and the children were killed. After which he attempted to land a Cessna onboard the Valiant just as the paradox machine was destroyed which resulted in him being sent back 100 years in time to 1909. He sailed with the Titanic, meet and married Nellie and became his own great grandfather (that’s paradoxes for you).

As a result of the time reset after the paradox machine was destroyed the year that never was, never was (hence the name). He continued in semi retirement in his home in a village just outside of Nottingham and listened in on occasion to the ‘chatter’ on the Torchwood frequencies; this made him feel like he was still part of the team. It was while he was doing this that he picked up Megan’s distress signal from Torchwood House, as a result of his subsequent actions he was brought back into active service and assigned to Torchwood House as a fully fledged field operative.

At first sight Zeg can appear a little absent minded and slow. But appearances can be deceptive and Zeg can often find solutions to problems that others miss. Although equally he can on occasion jump to the completely wrong conclusion (his support for Harold Saxon is an example of this). He is somewhat shy and lacking in self confidence and although some may consider him a coward (especially after Canary Wharf) he would lay down his life for his friends and family without a second thought. He is a committed family man and loves his children and Susan more than anything else in the world and would never do anything to betray them.
